Job Description

The Company  Our client is a Michigan based dental products manufacturer, a rapidly growing business that produces specialty products used by dentists for several common procedures.  Their flagship product line is the market leader in North America and several European countries.  Employees enjoy a fun, energetic, and entrepreneurial environment.  There is always a lot going on and new opportunities to express your creativity every day.  The company is privately owned by the original partners that started the company in the mid 1990’s.  The products are marketed directly to dentists in the United States.  Globally, their products are sold to dentists via dealers.  European distribution is handled through their office in Germany.

The Position
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to meet the business objectives for new and existing products as well as corporate brand initiatives.  Prior experience in the dental industry is a plus but is not required for this position. Candidates must have a solid classic marketing background with experience in developing comprehensive marketing plans and brand strategy and managing others. It is preferred that candidates are familiar with building corporate brands and have a background in marketing communications and public relations. This position reports into the Managing Director and has two direct reports.
